Golden State, please just take these players.

This season, the Portland Trail Blazers were never in the running to qualify for the NBA playoffs. While they did, the Golden State Warriors never really stood a chance. Joel Embiid is limited for the Philadelphia 76ers, who are trailing the New York Knicks 2-0 in their opening-round series.

All three of these teams require a shake-up: Golden State must decide whether or not to make one final push with the Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green Core; Philadelphia will have plenty of cap space and two stars in Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey; and the Blazers must clear roster spots and cap space before making moves for the 2024 NBA Draft.

What would happen if the three of them got dinner and worked out a deal that suited them both?

Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus proposed a theory that might help all three clubs with a few problems. Portland dumps two needless contracts, the Warriors add a guard and a big man to their bench, and Philadelphia gets a role-playing wing who might be better in a different setting.
