This special livery marks the airline’s support for the upcoming Olympic games scheduled to be held in Los Angeles from July 14 to July 30, 2028. Notably, Los Angeles is one of Delta Air Lines’ nine major hubs.
This particular A350 aircraft, with a test registration of F-WZNU and bearing the US registration N522DZ, is the first of Delta’s A350 fleet to receive the LA28 livery. The new design, praised by aviation enthusiasts, was created by the LA Livery Illustrator artist on Platform X, drawing inspiration from a photograph taken by Planespotter Seletti Nuno.
