Football Association chief executive Mark Bullingham has revealed a succession plan is in place to replace Gareth Southgate as England manager.
Southgate is currently at Euro 2024 in Germany with England having admitted it could be his last tournament in charge of the national side. And Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe is one of the leading contenders to replace him.
Southgate’s future will be reviewed after the tournament with Bullingham providing insight into the FA’s plans when it comes to appointing a successor.
