The two biggest names that are leaving the club are Matt Ritchie and Paul Dummett. Excellent tributes have been paid to both players, with the former currently being linked with a move to Watford.
Newcastle are releasing five senior players this summer, none of which have found a new employer as of yet ahead of the 2024/25 season.
However, it is a different story for one of the Newcastle academy players who is not receiving a contract extension. It came as no surprise to see Newcastle United announce that they would be releasing Dylan Stephenson at the end of the season.
