Introducing the Steelers’ post-draft free agents is Roy Countryman.
The 2024 NFL Draft concluded with the Steelers selecting an astounding array of gifted athletes. The following guys have been added to the mix, so allow me to acquaint you with the group of declared undrafted free agents:
Introducing Plumlee into the venture is a highly intriguing prospect. He was a four-star prospect when he made his initial commitment to Ole Miss to play baseball and football. Due to an injury, he didn’t play on the field during his rookie season, but the coaching staff decided to move him to wide receiver because of his ability to create plays. He eventually transferred to Central Florida, where he was able to regain his feet, having never been able to settle into the role.
Bishop is an intriguing addition to the nickel cornerback mix because of his explosive movement skills and athleticism (4.39 40), which are evident when you play his tape. He is skilled at aggressively filling in to support runs and has excellent reflexes for breaking on passes. With a number of impressive returns on tape, he is also a dangerous punt returner.
Although Bishop, an undrafted free agent, will only be 24 years old when he debuts, he may have the simplest route to playing regularly because the other corners on the team are more suited to play outside and the nickel corner position is still up for grabs.
