Today’s action by the Green Bay Packers will have an immediate effect on quarterback Jordan Love. In the second half of the 2023 season, the Packers were among the top teams in the league. In their remaining ten games of the season, they finished 7-3, including a convincing victory against the Dallas Cowboys, the #2 seed in the NFC Wild Card game.

The Packers are making every effort to provide Love with the greatest opportunity for success going into 2024. With their most recent addition, that was made clear today.

Packers Plan To Discuss Long-Term Contract With Former USU QB

As stated on the official Packers website:

T. Andre Dillard has signed with the Green Bay Packers. General Manager Jordan Love made the announcement about the transaction on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Eagles first selected Dillard (6-5, 315), a sixth-year player out of Washington State, with the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played for the Tennessee Titans (2023) for his final season following four years in Philadelphia (2019–22). Dillard has participated in 59 regular-season games overall, making 19 starts.

He participated in 16 games in 2023, tying his career high, and made 10 starts, a career high. Throughout his career, he has also participated in five postseason games. Dillard was a two-time Pac-12 All-Star and appeared in 42 games with 39 starts during his collegiate career. For the Packers, he will don the number 73.

The group might even bring in a wide receiver or running back to give Love more weapons.

For as long as Jordan Love remains under center, however, keeping him upright will be the top goal.

The Packers signed 26-year-old Josh Jacobs after trading for Aaron Jones, further demonstrating their commitment to developing their roster for the future.

The group might even bring in a wide receiver or running back to give Love more weapons.
