Amadou Onana is set to join Aston Villa from Everton in a deal estimated to be worth over £50 million. Fabrizio Romano reports that the Belgian international will have a physical at his new club following his return from vacation.
Onana made his mark at LOSC Lille before joining the Merseyside club in the summer of 2022. Even if the Toffees haven’t been playing well lately, the sensational midfielder hasn’t made many mistakes since moving to Goodison Park

He has been a notable player for them, and his continuous efforts have allowed him to be included in the Belgian Euro 2024 squad. The 22-year-old participated in every minute of their tournament before France eliminated them in the round of 16.
Right now Onana is enjoying a well-earned vacation. The Belgian star won’t be wearing the blue of Everton even though he will shortly return to England. Although they desperately needed money to bolster their roster, the Toffees were eager to keep him around for a few more years.
