According to exclusive information obtained by GIVEMESPORT, Al-Nassr has begun negotiations to extend Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract by one year and is hopeful the Portugal international will stay with the team until 2026.
Talks are preliminary as part of a scheduled discussion this summer. Although the attacker isn’t now looking to relocate to another country or go back to Europe, it is understood that they are not in a haste to complete a sale.
After leaving Manchester United to join Al-Nassr in December 2022, Ronaldo has scored 70 goals in 64 appearances. With 35 goals in just 31 league games, he won the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot the previous season.
