Ahead of the summer transfer window, Saudi Pro League teams are refusing to pay Manchester United the £30 million they are want for Casemiro.

After a dismal season under Erik ten Hag, the 32-year-old faced criticism for his play during his second season at United.

It is believed that United is willing to let go of Casemiro this summer, with the Saudi Pro League being the most likely place for the midfield player to end up.

Goal Brazil reports that United wants to pay £30 million for the Brazilian, who signed a £70 million contract in August 2022 after leaving Real Madrid. With a weekly salary of over £350,000, the Brazilian is currently the best paid player at the club.

Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisiyah, who won promotion to the Saudi Pro League this season and have already made an offer to make Jose Mourinho their technical director, have registered their interest in signing Casemiro.

Casemiro, who was left out of United’s FA Cup final squad by Ten Hag, is now set to hold talks with United’s hierarchy for clarification over his future this summer.
