Former Norwich City striker Gary Hooper has been released by defeated National League play-off semi finalists Barnet.
The experienced striker signed for the Bees earlier in the season in a surprise move having spent the last four years playing in New Zealand, Cyprus, UAE and India.
Hooper joined Barnet back in October, making only 10 appearances and scoring twice in all competitions.
The 36-year-old hasn’t featured for Dean Brennan’s side since December owing to personal reasons and has departed the club after their hefty 4-0 play-off semi final defeat to Solihull Moors last weekend.
