Harry Kane, a golf enthusiast, said that after moving to Germany, his playing had gotten “ka-putt.”
Harry Kane, a striker for Bayern Munich and England, claims that his summertime move from Tottenham Hotspur has affected his golf game, but he has now found a new teammate with whom to play.
After joining German Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur, the England captain claimed that his swing deteriorated.
Due to his lack of playing time, the striker has gone from being a scratch player to playing three shots above par since joining the German team.
He started having lessons to improve his game with golf professional Robert Rock in the UK but his Germany move halted them.
“I even got down to scratch a few years ago. I haven’t played too much since I’ve made the move to Munich – I’ve had to sort a load of other more important stuff out before I can get back to dedicating time to golf.
“I’m working with Robert Rock at the minute. Frustratingly we only started working in May last year and I’d had about three or four lessons but then the move to Germany happened.
He said: “I’m a three handicapper right now but I was a bit lower at one stage back when I was playing a little bit more.
