Former Tennessee guard Freddie Dilione V announced his commitment to Penn State. 247Sports’ Tyler Calvaruso first reported the news.
Dilione redshirted his true freshman season in 2022-23 and saw limited action throughout last season. He played in 18 games for the Volunteers, averaging 1.7 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game.
He suffered an injury early last season against Wofford. Dilione also missed the Maui Invitational due to a torn plantar fascia which also limited him against North Carolina.
Dilione saw limited playing time with the Volunteers with Zakai Zeigler, Dalton Knecht, Jonas Aidoo, Josiah-Jordan James, and others taking up most of the minutes.
