As he attempts to complete the triumph in Texas, Taylor Pendrith has a lot to think about.

Taylor Pendrith of Canada shot back-to-back eagles to take the lead going into the last day of The CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Pendrith began the day tied for fifth place, but after making birdies on the second, fifth, and sixth holes as well as another birdie on the ninth, he turned in six under.

He improved to 19 under par for the event with two more birdies on the final nine.

American Jake Knapp, who shot a four under 67 on Saturday in Texas, is one stroke behind Pendrith in the lead.

Matt Wallace of England, who also shot 67, is in third place at 17 under.

Wallace’s only mistake of the day came on the par-4 16th, where he finished with two consecutive birdies to stay in the hunt.
