Tom Clifford has left King’s Lynn Town.
The 25-year-old left back started 13 National League North games for the Linnets last season having joined on a two-year from Southend United last August.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “The club can confirm Tom Clifford has left by mutual agreement. We wish Tom our best wishes for the future.”
Clifford started Lynn’s final game of the season, a 3-0 defeat at Spennymoor, but it was his only squad appearance in 2024 as he fell out of favour with manager Adam Lakeland.
Clifford was named on Lynn’s retained list when it was released at the end of last week, because he was under contract, but his exit was expected.
