Discover how one Coventry family is counting down the hours until this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final by seeing them put out the flags. The Coventry Shared Lives Scheme brought Rob, Bernie, Stephen, and Kerry together.

It makes it possible for adults to cohabit in a loving family home with support and care given. Living with Bernie and Rob, Kerry and Stephen have grown to be close over the years.

Stephen and Rob are avid supporters of Coventry City, having season tickets and attending as many games as they can. And along with Bernie and Kerry, who are equally excited about the semi-final matchup, all four of them will be heading to Wembley to see the Sky Blues game versus Manchester United.

In addition, he expressed his excitement about getting to wave to Coventry City manager Mark Robins as the players leave the field, something he does each time the squad takes the field. Rob noted that only in the last two years has Stephen attended Sky Blues games regularly, and it has made a difference.

“I’ve been a huge Sky Blues fan for years, and playing with Stephen has been fantastic,” he continued. It’s the ideal way for him to reach out to more people. We adore it and eagerly for Sunday.

According to Bernie, the Shared Lives initiative has changed everyone’s life. “Stephen helps set the table, and Kerry assists in the kitchen as we cook together,” she stated. Kerry says we make a good team; really, we do work well together. Stephen is very fortunate to visit Wembley.
