Jason La Canfora stated on April 9 that the Steelers are still working to resolve the situation at the position.

Josh Carney of Steelers Depot believes that the Steelers would need to take a huge swing on a wide receiver if they were to make a move.

“No, Khan needs to make a major swing if the Steelers are genuinely interested in completing a trade at wide receiver. Go large or return home. Exactly.

The Desperation the Steelers Induced
The Steelers possessed a really potent wide receiver combination at the top of their depth chart at the beginning of the 2024 offseason.

George Pickens had just had a season in which he had 1140 yards and 63 catches.

They also have former Pro Bowl player Diontae Johnson.

Then they dealt Johnson, which left WR2 desperately short of supplies.

They currently lack the most motivating choices to follow Pickens.
