Following her arrest on April 5 in Elmore County, Alabama, Grace Kelley, 27, the daughter of country singer Wynonna Judd and her businessman ex-husband, Arch Kelley III, has been charged with soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing government operations, according to sheriff’s records.

In Millbrook, Alabama, Kelley was taken into custody after carrying a sign that said, “A Ride for a Ride,” next to a busy road. According to Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson, she had her privates and breast uncovered, as reported by the Daily Mail. She had been bothering customers at little businesses along the highway before her arrest, Johnson told the Mail, and she had even informed buyers at Circle K that she had been robbed. She was first approached by officers at one of the establishments.

She fought with our officers about the legality of her actions when she first came into contact with them. Additionally, Johnson informed the Mail that it was lawful for her to sell herself in exchange for rides. She apparently carried on with her actions when the officers did not arrest her, and she was finally taken into custody near the intersection of the highway and an interstate.

Johnson told the U.K. outlet that although Kelley didn’t have any drugs or drug paraphernalia on her when she was arrested, “if you look at the booking photo, it hadn’t been long.” Johnson added that he had spoken with Kelley’s father earlier this week, but he pointed out that on her mother’s side, only a Judd representative had gotten in touch.

She was detained on Friday in lieu of $2,000 bail, which the new solicitation charge is said to have raised.

When Grace Kelley was about 2 years old, Judd and Arch Kelley got divorced in 1998. According to RadarOnline, she was sent by her mother to a “behavioral camp” as a juvenile, where she would spend 60 days beginning in December 2012. Later, she requested that her aunt Ashley Judd be granted guardianship.

According to RadarOnline.com, Kelley has a lengthy arrest history that includes drug-related apprehensions in Tennessee and Alabama in 2015, 2016, and 2017. She completed a 180-day court-mandated treatment program early, and as People reported in June 2018, she was given an eight-year prison sentence.

Although August 2025 was her scheduled release date, People reported that she was eligible for parole as early as February 2019. The Daily Beast claims that in December 2022, she was granted parole.

In 2022, Grace gave birth to a girl named Kaliyah. On the “Today” show in October of that year, Wynonna Judd remarked of Kaliyah, “She’s six months old and she doesn’t speak yet, but she looks right through me.” “She instills hope in me.”
