With nine games left to secure promotion back to the Premier League, Leicester City hopes to welcome back a few important players over the Easter weekend.

With a double header on Easter weekend, Ricardo Pereira, Jamie Vardy, and Dennis Praet will be hoping to be getting closer to being healthy again as the Championship run-in gets underway.

The injured trio will return from their international break, according to Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca. However, it is unclear if they will be fit for the team’s Good Friday trip to Bristol City, which kicks off at 12.30 p.m. Maresca will share more information during his press conference later this week.

Ricardo has now missed City’s last four games across all competitions due to a hamstring injury he sustained in training after a season without any injuries. The loss at Leeds a month ago was his most recent appearance. He has been particularly missed, and if he can make a comeback at Bristol City or on Easter Monday at home against Norwich (12.30pm kickoff), it will be the biggest boost for City.

The leading scorer for City this year, Vardy, was ruled out of the FA Cup match against Chelsea due to an injury he sustained against Hull. Despite not having exercised before the game, he began and scored twice before getting injured. Prior to the journey to Stamford Bridge, Maresca stated that it was “not a big issue”.
