Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to make a bid for one of the best forwards in Europe, and Manchester United is looking for another attacker.

This season, the Red Devils have had difficulty scoring goals at times, and Rasmus Hojlund has had a difficult time adjusting to life in the Premier League. The Danish international had an injury at the beginning of the season and struggled to score goals until he got comfortable.

Hojlund has finally improved, but Manchester United is apparently trying to add quality in offensive areas because there isn’t much depth behind the young player.

Joshua Zirkzee, an outstanding Dutch forward, “knows that he will play in England sooner or later,” according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via TEAMtalk, with an official offer to bring him to Manchester expected shortly.

Though it’s also rumored that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are keen, the Bologna star is poised to depart Italy for about €50 million. But Zirkzee’s increasing worth might cost him a move to Old Trafford, in FFT’s opinion, as United have more urgent problems to address than upfront.

The 22-year-old might face a bidding battle if he decides to leave Bologna this summer.
